Ispat Nigam Limited - Visakhapatnam Steel Plant (RINL-VSP), popularly known as
‘Vizag Steel’ the ‘Pride of Steel’, a leading Central PSU and a subsidiary of
India’s largest Public Sector steel producer Steel Authority of India Ltd (SAIL)
under the Ministry of Steel, is the first shore based Integrated Steel Plant in
the country. RINL-VSP has job opportunities for safety engineers as mentioned

In addition to Basic Pay, they would
be entitled to Industrial Dearness Allowance, Perks and allowances under
Cafeteria Approach @ 46% of the basic pay (after adjusting the recurring
expenditure on maintaining and running infrastructure facilities), Performance
Related Pay, Free Medical Treatment for Self, Family and Dependant parents,
Insurance Cover, Housing in the Company Township or HRA, Leave and encashment
of Earned Leave, Contributory Provident Fund, Group Insurance, Gratuity, etc.
The approximate CTC will be as under:
E-4: Rs 14.74 lakhs
E-3:
Rs 12.90 lakhs

through interview to be held at Visakhapatnam.
Eligibility Criteria for the Job
- Only Indian Nationals can apply for these jobs.
- B.E. / B.Tech Degree (full time) in Mechanical / Electrical / Metallurgy / Chemical / Production Engineering with at least 60% marks from a recognized University / Institution with full time PG Degree / Diploma in Industrial Safety Engineering from a recognized University / Regional Labour Institute / Institution recognized under the Factories Act / Rules. OR B.E. / B.Tech Degree (full time) in Industrial Safety / Fire & Safety Engineering with at least 60% marks from a recognized University / Institution.
- Essential post-qualification experience of minimum 9 years (for E-4 grade) and 6 years (for E-3) grade in compliance with safety regulations under the Factories Act; developing, auditing and improving safety systems; promotion of safety consciousness amongst the employees; examination of machinery, equipment and building from the safety angle; experience in conducting Hazop, Hazan studies, etc. Experience in organising safety training and fire fighting would be an added advantage.
- Fluency in English and Telugu languages is essential.
